Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieustepped out at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 5.
The actor, 44, and the model, 28, made a rare joint public appearance at the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Gyllenhaal wore an unbuttoned white shirt with his tux and had a buzz cut. Cadieu also showed off a black and white tuxedo-inspired look on the red carpet.
Gyllenhaal is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his role as prosecutor-turned-murder suspect Rusty Sabich in the Apple TV+ show Presumed innocent. He competes against Mr. & Mrs. Smith‘s Donald Glover, Slow horses‘ Gary Oldman, Day of the Jackal‘s Eddie Redmayne, Shogun‘s Hiroyuki Sanada and Farmer‘s Billy Bob Thornton in the category.
Prior to the 2025 awards, Gyllenhaal was previously nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Love and other drugs in 2011 and Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for Nightcrawler in 2015.

As for Gyllenhaal’s relationship with Cadieu, the pair have been dating since 2018, though they’ve kept their romance relatively under the radar.
During an interview in June 2024 with The Hollywood ReporterGyllenhaal dodged a question about whether he plans to marry Cadieu.
“I have to tell The Hollywood Reporter that?” he replied. “I won’t give you timing.”

Still, Gyllenhaal revealed that his personal life had become a priority of late.
“I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time my career took precedence, but I’m at a point in my life where I realize family is really the only thing that means something to me,” he explained.
Nearly three years earlier, Gyllenhaal hinted at his desire to settle down during an October 2021 appearance at The Howard Stern Show.
“All I want is to be a good husband and a father. … That’s really all I want,” he said at the time. “And now that I’ve accomplished a lot of things in my career that I feel don’t worry, I can safely say that. I don’t know if I could have said it before.”
Gyllenhaal also gushed over Cadieu, calling her “such a good person” who is not a fan of the limelight.
“That’s part of the reason why I just love her. … Not the main reason at all, but you know, one of them,” he raved. “I love her so much.”
