Speaking sincerely about her health decision during Tuesday, January 28, episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad”, Kohosted by Hannah BernerDesorbo, 32, discussed where she was in the process.
“Monday, I go after my first appointment … to freeze my eggs,” Desorbo said before clarifying that she would “do it … last year, probably in the spring.” (It is unclear when Desorbo and Conover, 35, officially divorced ways, but Desorbo announced their split during the 30th of December -episode of her podcast.)
Desorbo detailed how she had planned to make her first medical appointment late last year. “I was like, ok, 2025, I freezing my eggs and I had it on my list because … I just have to like, chill January and I have a list of things I would have done in January . “
The TV star added that she has found “early March” to start the process, also known as oocyte cray -cracking, which Health Line Defines as a procedure where “medicine is used to stimulate eggs to grow” before they are then “harvested from the ovaries and frozen for storage.”
“The only thing is that I have to choose two weeks that I have to be home because I have to do the shots at the same time every night,” Desorbo said.

The new podcast episode saw Desorbo further detailed her decision to freeze her eggs and reveal that she is wary of how the procedure can change her body. “I’ve talked to some girls who have said because you pump yourself full of hormones … and then you make the egg wind that your body is changing,” she said. “It freaked me out but it was only two girls [who] said that to me. “
Berner, 33, also expressed his own concerns about his Cohost and said that Desorbo is “someone who has PCOS,” with reference to polycystic ovarian syndrome. Desorbo did not extend the special topic, but followed Berner’s remark by telling listeners that she has “always known” that she would eventually freeze her eggs.
“When I first decided to freeze my eggs, it wasn’t like, oh my god, my career, I really thought I would have a child at 32,” Desorbo explained. “But always on the back of my head I was what if I come to 39-40 and I’m like, wait, I want one more.”
She continued, “Now it’s different, I need it as a security … But it makes me relax a little, knowing that I do.”
Desorbo added that in preparation for the procedure she has stopped “smoking weeds” and, as a result, has not “loved life anymore.”
