Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes hug and cheer after Chiefs AFC win

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes‘ friendship continues to blossom.

Swift, 35, and Brittany, 29, shared a sweet hug and cheered with their arms around each other for their significant other, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and Brittany’s husband, Patrick Mahomeshelped the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Buffalo Bills during the 2025 AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26.

During the game’s post-victory celebrations, Swift and Brittany took to the field at Arrowsmith Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to catch Kelce, 35, giving a speech in the middle of formalizing the Chiefs’ participation in February’s Super Bowl LIX with his teammates.

Photos from the moment captured Swift wrapping her arms around a smiling Brittany as Swift looked up at the Chiefs’ stage where the proceedings took place. Additional photos showed Swift raising her arm in the air as she wrapped her left arm around a laughing Brittany’s neck as Kelce’s mother, Donnagiggled beside them.

Brittany, who gave birth to her third child, Golden Raye, earlier this month and shares two other children, Sterling and Bronze, with Patrick, 29, also shared moments from the festivities via her Instagram Stories on Sunday night.

One story showed celebratory confetti flying through the air as Brittany is heard cheering in the background, while another zoomed in on Patrick, 29, accepting his trophy and waving to the crowd.

Swift and Brittany’s friendship has blossomed since Swift began dating Kelce in the summer of 2023. The couple has supported the Chiefs during several games throughout this NFL season, and Swift also gave the Mahomes family a thoughtful gift to celebrate the arrival of baby Golden .

According to a source who has spoken to Us Weekly on Saturday, January 25, Swift made a blanket for Golden. “She does a lot of things for the people she loves and cares about,” the source shared Us. “She makes sentimental gifts that are more valuable to her than expensive gifts.”

As for Swift and Brittany’s strong bond, another source shared Us in October 2023 that the pair’s friendship accelerated rapidly. “Brittany [was] excited to build a real friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out a few times and grown pretty close in a short amount of time,” the insider said at the time. “Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet and down to earth and they get along really well.”

Only one month after Us spoke to the source, Brittany joined Swift for a girls’ night out in New York City with Swift’s famous friends Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner and Gigi Hadid.

Brittany and Patrick have also shown their support for Swift and celebrated her passing Era’s Tour in December 2024 by participating in a eras– theme party. “My people,” Brittany captioned a series of photos from the bash, where she posed with Swift and fellow Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell.
