“Shae Lynn Lawrence. Born 1/4/25 at 4:01am. 10lbs 2oz 🎀🩷,” Marissa, 25, wrote via Instagram on Monday, January 6. “Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!! Thank you Jesus for our girl!!”
The couple’s announcement included a photo of Marissa in her hospital bed with Trevor, 25, sitting by her side. Their daughter rested between them as they smiled for the camera.
Marissa donned a cozy black pajama set, while the football player rocked a baseball cap that read “Girl Dad” for the occasion. Trevor also wore an arm sling when he underwent shoulder surgery last month to repair an AC joint injury. Their little one looked cute in a white onesie.

In an additional snap, Shae wore a knitted pink sweater with her name stitched in brown as she rested in her hospital sink.
Marissa’s post also included photos of her and Trevor bringing their little one home. In one photo, Trevor carried his daughter out with his good arm as she was secured in her car seat.
As the family of three returned to their house, Marissa also shared a photo of her cuddled Shae as she sat next to the window overlooking their backyard.
Trevor and Marissa are high school sweethearts who started dating in 2016. The two got engaged after four years of dating. They tied the knot in April 2021. In June 2024, Marissa revealed that she was pregnant with her and Trevor’s first child.
“A little Lawrence on the way 🤍,” she captioned their post, which featured her, Trevor and their two pups.
A month after sharing her exciting news, Marissa and Trevor found out they were expecting a baby. The two threw an ice cream-themed sex reveal party with their closest friends and family in attendance.

“Trevor and I were so thankful to have our folks in town all weekend, just relaxing and having fun!!” Marissa captioned a July 2024 Instagram Reel that summed up the party. “We found out just the two of us earlier this week about a little girl and couldn’t wait for everyone else to find out what our little scoop was 🍦🎀.”
Almost a week before welcoming Shae, Marissa took to Instagram to share how excited she was to meet her little one as her due date neared.
“Thank you Jesus for this amazing life I get to live with the love of my life. Thank you for our sweet girl and a beautiful pregnancy,” she captioned a video of some of her pregnancy highlights. “We can’t wait to meet her! What a gift she is already 💕.”
